McCarthy, Winkelman & Mester was proud to once again be a Title Sponsor of the 32nd Annual Ray Smith Golf Classic which took place on June 18, 2020.
The annual Ray Smith Golf Classic benefits the John Moylan Scholarship Fund which provides financial aid for students who otherwise would not be able to attend DeMatha Catholic High School. This yearly tradition has raised close to $600,000 in 31 years. This event sells out each year and is very popular among alumni, parents, and friends.
At the 30th Annual Ray Smith Golf Classic in April 2018, Partner Kevin McCarthy was awarded the “Ray Smith Award,” recipients of which are presented by the Smith family and past recipients with a Hawaiian shirt that Ray Smith was known to wear. Kevin was good friends with Ray Smith, who spent most of his career as DeMatha’s head golf coach.
